Next Masterclass for dramatic voices: Wagner/Strauss

We focus on dramatic voices with their unique needs including vocal technique, career development, repertoire and vocal resilience.

We give you the opportunity to work with us on arias and scenes in a trusting and professional atmosphere, with vocal technique, music and interpretation and to understand the dramaturgical context. Each participant will work with Ann Beckman and Vera Wenkert on arias or a scene of a German dramatic repertoire of their choice.

It is our aim to help each participant to fully explore the possibilities of a unique interpretation with his or her individual voice and talent.

Course instructors:

Vera Wenkert: dramatic soprano (performed more than 30 dramatic roles), expert in the repertoire of R. Wagner and R. Strauss, vocal specialist and founder of the international Institute StimmKunst.

Pianist: Ann Beckman: Expert in the repertoire of R. Wagner and R. Strauss. Long-standing director at the Zurich Opera Studio. For many years solo coach at the Salzburg Festival and guest coach at renowned opera houses such as La Scala, the Hamburg State Opera and the Moscow Bolshoi Theater.

Age limit: 42 years
